JACKAL is ZooRacing’s latest high-performance touring car body, developed specifically for Modified and Stock racing, where precision, downforce and direct handling are crucial. The design is based on our latest findings, with the aim of enabling maximum performance on the track.

Many new features ensure greater downforce, increased stability and, overall, more precise handling. At the same time, aerodynamic efficiency has been further improved, which in particular ensures greater stability in fast corners and clean rotation.

To this end, many areas of the JACKAL have been specifically refined. The front and bonnet have been redesigned to achieve greater steering precision at high speeds. The front features a significantly smoother design, ensuring a more efficient, laminar airflow. The sides have been shaped to direct air specifically over the rear wheel arches, thereby optimising the aerodynamic pressure differential and generating additional downforce. The rear has been fitted with a particularly large rear wing to reduce turbulence and further increase downforce.

A key feature of the JACKAL is its sharply tapered side profile. This design reduces the frontal area, leading to better acceleration and greater agility in tight corners. At the same time, airflow along the body is improved, reducing drag and increasing overall aerodynamic efficiency. The result is very direct and responsive handling, particularly on typical modified tracks with high speeds and rapid changes of direction.

The JACKAL has also been specifically designed for high driving stability at high speeds. The reduced frontal area and optimised aerodynamics ensure smooth, stable handling even at top speed. This is particularly crucial in the modified category to keep the vehicle controllable under load and in fast corners. The wide, aerodynamically optimised rear wing contributes significantly to balance and ensures constant downforce even in critical driving situations.

To further improve aerodynamic efficiency, the roof has been elongated, which reduces drag and increases stability at high speeds. The side windows feature a new curved structure to achieve a balanced pressure distribution along the bodywork. The newly developed rear wing is designed for maximum efficiency and perfectly matched to the rear of the body. An integrated stiffener provides additional rigidity and consistent performance, particularly on fast tracks.

For the first time, aerodynamic turbulators are also used in the area of the rear wing and rear structure to reduce turbulence and specifically influence the airflow. Furthermore, the front and rear structures have been made stronger overall to improve dimensional stability at high speeds – particularly when using the 0.4mm version.

At the forefront of the JACKAL highlights is the new ZOOlite deep-drawing process, which reduces the total weight of the 0.7mm body by approx. 10g whilst simultaneously lowering the vehicle’s centre of gravity.

Naturally, the body is also available in the ULTRALIGHT 0.5mm version, which ensures maximum performance and even greater agility without compromising on stability.

For very high grip ratios and uncompromising modified racing

the body is additionally available in the extremely lightweight 0.4mm AIRLITE version.

Included in the scope of delivery are high-quality mounting materials for the rear wing and a detailed decal sheet featuring grille, headlight and rear light designs.

New additions are the decals with integrated window frames and tinted windows, which significantly simplify painting and quickly lead to a clean finish.

Important note :
The thinner the bodies become, the more delicate they are. This applies to manufacturing, storage, transport and, ultimately, of course, use.
The bodies may have minor creases (particularly at the rear).
Unfortunately, small creases and folds cannot always be prevented and are not really visible to us through the bag. The
principle here is: form follows function – you won’t win any beauty contests with super-thin bodies. But they are fast :-)

This applies in particular to the AIRLITE variant, which is only 0.4 mm thick. Creases occur time and again here due to the delicate material. The use of 0.4 mm bodies is therefore only suitable for drivers who can live with these characteristics, for whom reduced durability is not a problem and who want to achieve maximum performance.
