XRAY XB4-2027 Carbon Rear Laydown Shock Mounting Adapter (L+R)
The carbon laydown shock absorber mounting adaptors for the XB4’27 provide a revised rear shock absorber mounting geometry with a lower shock absorber position and a flatter shock absorber angle, thereby lowering the shock absorber’s mounting position and improving the stability of the rear suspension.
When used in conjunction with the rear LSM shock tower #363090, the adaptors form the complete ‘Laydown’ configuration and deliver a smoother, more progressive response from the rear suspension. The revised geometry helps to stabilise the car’s handling through corners, thereby improving stability and predictability, particularly under high traction conditions.
The ‘Laydown’ system expands the suspension’s adjustment options for different track conditions. Includes left and right adaptors. Precision-machined using CNC technology from high-quality US carbon fibre for maximum strength, stiffness and durability.
