WeiRC has further improved its popular steel chassis in 2026 . The material is now even more durable, and all chassis have been given a black DLC coating. The screws have remained the same – so they can also be combined with the previous chassis!

The high-quality DLC steel chassis from WeiRC is THE tuning alternative for your Xray X4`26 touring car. The 1.2mm-thin chassis is heavier than a carbon fibre or aluminium chassis and lowers the vehicle’s centre of gravity significantly. Often better handling and a “car that’s easier to drive” can be the advantage of using a steel chassis. 

: Update To fit the aluminium upstop components to the chassis, a 0.25mm washer must be used. This must be fitted between the chassis and the aluminium part; without the washers, the screw cannot be tightened. The original Xray screw must be used.
