WeiRC has further improved its popular steel chassis in 2026. The material is now even more durable, and all chassis have been given a black DLC coating. The screws remain the same – so they can also be used with the previous chassis!

WeiRC’s high-quality, DLC-coated steel chassis is THE tuning alternative for your Mugen Seiki MTC-3 touring car. The 1.1 mm-thin chassis is heavier than a carbon fibre or aluminium chassis and significantly lowers the car’s centre of gravity. The benefits of using a steel chassis often include better handling and a car that is ‘easier to drive’. 

INFO: To use the chassis, you’ll need the matching screw set, which is also available from WeiRC (WEI-SCS-MTC3).
