SkyRC Tire Glueing Device
The SkyRC Tire Sander is a handy tyre-gluing turntable for RC tyres that makes it much easier to apply glue cleanly and evenly to the tyre sidewalls. Reinforced sidewalls reduce deformation at high speeds, improve cornering stability and ensure more predictable handling – ideal for carpet and clay tracks.
A robust, low-speed motor ensures smooth rotation without splattering. The speed can be continuously adjusted via a rotary control, and the direction of rotation can be switched between clockwise and anti-clockwise at any time using a switch. Power is supplied via an XT60 connector with a wide input range of 6–12 V DC – ideal for operation with a 2S LiPo battery (7.4 V) in the pit or a 12 V power supply in the workshop.
A precision mounting mandrel with a locking screw holds the tyre securely in place during rotation. Hex adaptors for 1/10 on- and off-road included in the scope of delivery ensure immediate compatibility. Non-slip rubber feet keep the unit securely in place on a pit table or workbench.
