Description
Every racer knows the situation: a broken balancer cable, a cold solder joint on the ESC, or a battery cable that gives up the ghost just before the final. And the nearest soldering station? Usually somewhere between ‘far too far away’ and ‘already in use’.
With the MXLR Mobile Soldering Station, you have a complete soldering station right in your pit bag.
This is a latest-generation portable high-frequency soldering system, developed specifically for professional applications in RC model-making. Compared to conventional soldering irons, it offers more power, significantly shorter heat-up times and a much more compact and lightweight design.
Ideal for repairs and maintenance work right in the paddock during racing events – and, of course, equally suitable for all general soldering jobs at home.
It couldn’t be easier to use: just plug everything in – switch it on – and get started. No settings, no menus. Everything is factory-preset and ready to use straight away. Simple, isn’t it?
The station is powered by a standard 2S LiPo or a 5–12V DC power source, reaches its operating temperature in around 10 seconds and delivers performance comparable to a conventional 150W soldering iron.
The base unit features integrated soldering holders for 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 mm gold-plated connectors, ensuring your connectors are securely and neatly held in place at all times whilst soldering.
Detachable power and PD cables ensure neat transport, whilst interchangeable soldering tips allow the station to be flexibly adapted to different tasks.
Made from aluminium and carbon fibre, the soldering station impresses with its high-quality and exceptionally lightweight construction. The complete set is supplied in a high-quality hard-case bag with a carbon-fibre finish and the MXLR logo. Because your tools deserve the same attention as your car.
