MXLR Front Body Support for Xray X4 2025 / 2026 - X4F 2027
With the trend towards ever-lighter car bodies and, at the same time, higher speeds, body deformation at high speeds is becoming an increasing problem. The MXLR Front Body Support for the XRAY X4'25 / X4'26 and X4F'27 has been developed specifically for this purpose.
This additional body support braces the front section of the body from the inside and:
- prevents the body from deforming at high speeds
- reduces the risk of cracks around the front wheel arches
- ensures that the body retains its intended shape more effectively
- thereby supporting consistent aerodynamic performance and maximum downforce
- can significantly extend the service life of particularly lightweight bodywork
The MXLR Front Body Support is made from high-quality plastic and features laser engraving on both sides.
During development, particular attention was paid to the flex of the chassis in the front section. The Body Support is designed to minimise its impact on the vehicle’s flex behaviour as much as possible.
Fitting
The following are recommended for fitting:
- 2x M3 screws, 8 mm long, for securing the body support to the front bumper plate (not included)
- 1x aluminium screw, 6 mm long, for adjusting to the correct height (not included)
The upper adjustment screw should just touch the inside of the bonnet without lifting the bodywork or applying any additional preload. The bodywork itself should rest normally on the front body clips or O-rings.
Manufacturing note
This product is a 3D-printed component. Due to the manufacturing process, visible layers and lines may therefore be present on the surface. MXLR attaches great importance to the highest possible print quality; however, due to the nature of the design, the surface finish of a 3D-printed component does not correspond to that of a milled or injection-moulded product.
