1️⃣ What are hollow chamber tires for 1:10 RC cars?
Hollow chamber tires (often called rubber tires with inserts) consist of:

→ This foam insert supports the tire from the inside so that it does not collapse and defines how soft or firm the tire sits on the rim.
Application: Standard for 1:10 scale on-road and off-road RC cars - both touring cars and buggies.

Tire traction compound is a liquid or gel that is applied to the tread of the tire to:

3️⃣ Why are adhesives used specifically for hollow-chamber tires?
Hollow-chamber tires (unlike sponge rubber tires, for example) have a flexible tread.
You can achieve this with adhesives:
✅ More grip → better traction when accelerating and cornering
✅ More consistency → the grip remains stable for longer during a race
✅ Fine tuning → you can specifically influence the turn-in behavior and stability
4️⃣ What is the technical effect of adhesives on hollow tires?

Adhesive slightly swells the rubber, making it more supple → the tire lays better in the microstructure of the asphalt or carpet.

In combination with the foam insert, the tire remains dimensionally stable, although the surface becomes softer → ideal balance between flexibility and stability.
