MR33 SPIDER Body Stiffener 1:10 Onroad (1)
Body reinforcement has become essential when using 0.4 mm or 0.5 mm thin lightweight 1:10 touring car bodies – especially in high-speed racing classes!
With the SPIDER from MR33, you now have the ultimate tool to stiffen your body like never before – and all this at a weight of just 3 GRAMS per SPIDER set.
The set includes everything you need for assembly. The self-adhesive side and centre sections are made from a highly durable, sturdy, yet flexible material. The thin carbon fibre rods fit perfectly inside and do not need to be glued in separately. Plug-and-play, so to speak!
IMPORTANT: The four side sections differ in shape. Two parts are designed for the front section for use with the short (110mm) carbon fibre rods, whilst the other two parts are intended for the rear section in combination with the long (116mm) rods. The product images clearly show the installation, and assembly is really child’s play.
TIP: Carefully slide the carbon fibre rods into the 3D-printed parts, holding them briefly as you do so. This prevents the rods from snapping accidentally.
The set includes a third, short (110mm) carbon fibre rod. You can glue this between the front or rear rods as you prefer. This makes the body significantly stiffer in this section. We recommend gluing the rod at the front. This is where the greatest downforce is applied to the windscreen, and the cross-glued rod prevents the windscreen from being pushed in unintentionally. Simply use MR33 Magic Glue or HUDY Body Fix to glue it in place!
