MR33 Ultra Stiff Set for Avalon Vortex (made by Boom RC) – The all-in-one package for the Avalon Vortex
We’ve spent a really long time working on this set. The biggest challenge was finding the right materials. Our goal was clear from the outset: as light as possible, as stiff as possible, whilst ensuring optimum handling.
With the Boom RC Ultra-Stiff, you have everything you need to fit the new Avalon Vortex body perfectly.
The set includes:
* Right and left body mounts with integrated nylon nuts (offering a weight advantage over conventional solutions)
* Anti-tuck for optimum hold at the rear of the body
* 2 wing mounts for the Avalon rear wing
* Spacers for customising the body height:
* 2 × 1 mm
* 2 × 2 mm
* 2 × 3 mm
Using the spacers provided, you can raise the body by up to 6 mm to suit your requirements.
Important note
We have noticed that, due to the shape of the Avalon rear wing, not every wing mounting is suitable. If you are using the original rear wing, please ensure that it is not distorted or compressed by unsuitable washers or fasteners.
Michel Zierold (Mr Boom RC) has already used the Ultra-Stiff Set at the ETS in Trenčín and was very satisfied right from the start. Installation is simple; the system is lightweight yet very rigid.
For us, this set is a genuine all-in-one package – unpack, fit and drive.
