MODSTER Bat Safe - The first real protection for your LiPo batteries!
Everyone knows about the dangers of LiPo batteries, and some people have even had a battery go up in flames.
The Bat Safe is designed so that the batteries can be safely charged and stored in it.
The charging cables are routed to the outside through a flameproof opening.
In the event of a fire, the resulting pressure can escape to the outside. This happens through the upper ventilation holes, while the smoke is filtered so that no harmful substances can escape.
The temperature inside the box can reach up to 800° in the event of a fire. However, thanks to the special insulation of the box, the base and side walls only heat up to a maximum of 80°. The escaping gas reaches a maximum temperature of 150°.
If the batteries are charged in the box, the maximum charge size of 60Ah or 60,000mAh for a single cell should not be exceeded as a reference value.
Example: 2x 6S with 5000mAh are possible without problems. To charge/store larger batteries, we recommend the Bat Safe XL!
