Introducing our 3DX Carbon Loaded Hub Bearing Tool for 12mm wheel hex bolts (1/10 Onroad).

Incorrect hub bearing shims and bearing problems are something we see very often on our customers' cars. And that's because it's quite difficult to check! Once you bolt on the big wheel to feel it under load, it becomes difficult to feel the bearings as size and weight often mask inefficiencies or blockages.

Attach the tool like a wheel. Slide it over the 4mm axle, locate the hex and tighten an M4 wheel nut while holding the tool by its carbon wings.

With this tool, you can load the hub as you would with a fixed wheel, but you can feel the bearings very sensitively with your fingers. This allows you to detect very small inefficiencies or blockages in the drivetrain that would otherwise not be noticeable.

With the long, bevelled 4 mm carbon arms, you can also check the play in the hub system and determine where the play is coming from. This can help you decide if additional hub washers are required or if a part or bearing needs to be replaced.
