Introducing our brand new INOV8 3DX Carbon Aero Bumper!

With 3D printed TPU bumpers becoming more and more mainstream, we set out to develop the best possible version, breaking new ground as usual for INOV8. Using our signature encapsulation technology , we tested a number of options and finally settled on the best combination of low weight and high strength.

The angular hexagons provide downforce on the bumper, while the encapsulated carbon fibre reinforces the bumper and prevents it from bending at the front and sides, which is common with the unreinforced bumpers currently on the market, especially as they get thinner to save weight.

We have kept the weight of the bumper at around 10 to 11 grams, but have significantly improved the rigidity of the bumper in the longitudinal direction. The bumper is also characterised by significantly higher impact resistance at the corners, which normally buckle backwards in the event of an impact. Our bumper resists this force and protects the corners of your car.

Even a serious accident in which a corner of your car could be torn off can be prevented thanks to the encapsulated carbon fibre with our 3DX Carbon Aero Bumper . The last cool feature of the 3DX Carbon Bumper is the ability to attach a small weight to the carbon fibre platform in the middle of the bumper to adjust the tilt.
