The XeRun V10 G5 motor from Hobbywing represents the next stage in the evolution of competitive racing performance. The G5 has been developed from the ground up and delivers 3.9% more maximum power output, as well as over a 4% improvement in efficiency under heavy load compared to its already impressive predecessor, the G4R. Weighing 13 g less than the G4R, the G5 offers a noticeably more agile and responsive driving experience on the track.

The thermal management system in the G5 has been fundamentally redesigned. A new end bell design exposes more of the motor windings, allowing heat to be dissipated more effectively, whilst a patented cooling system integrated into the rotor keeps operating temperatures consistently low – ensuring consistent performance from run to run. A special coating on the rotor surface provides corrosion protection and improved magnetic properties, enabling higher load capacity and greater power output. Furthermore, the G5 features optimised weight distribution, which shifts the centre of gravity closer to the centre of the vehicle, thereby improving driving stability and balance.
Fine-tuning is taken to a new level with the G5: the adjustable Hall sensor timing accuracy and the adjustable Hall sensor spacing via three supplied spacers (0.1 mm, 0.2 mm and 0.3 mm) allow drivers to fine-tune the Hall sensors and precisely adjust the feel of power delivery. The modular design enables quick and easy disassembly for cleaning and maintenance, ensuring your motor delivers peak performance race after race.
