The chassis, made from 1.2 mm thick, hardened spring steel, combines an unprecedentedly low centre of gravity with outstanding flex characteristics.
Through extensive optimisation of the manufacturing process, the required flatness and hardness of the chassis have been achieved.
The result is an incredibly durable chassis that outlasts its carbon and aluminium counterparts, as it is more wear-resistant and retains its flatness for longer.

Note on flatness compliance: Every chassis we manufacture is individually inspected to ensure it meets our strict flatness tolerances (≤ 0.4 mm). Measurements are carried out on a certified flat surface under the chassis’s own weight using calibrated measuring probes.
If a chassis meets these specifications, it is considered to be within tolerance and cannot be accepted as defective. Claims based on unverified methods or improper test conditions will not be considered. Our standards are clear, and every chassis that leaves our factory meets them. 7 July 2025 – Ongoing amendment C01B-RS – The hole in the P12X pin has been removed on the C01B-RS to improve durability under heavy impact.
This modification requires a minor adjustment, whereby the P12X pin must be ground down prior to installation. See SCC Operating Instructions V3
