ARC A11 Touring Car Kit 1:10 Carbon Chassis

The A11 is the new challenger for 2026 from ARC. The first race results were already very promising and the car has almost nothing to do with its predecessor, the A10. With its very attractive price and very good quality, the A11 is certainly a TOP alternative for anyone looking for a 1:10 touring car at the highest level.

Carbon fibre wishbones

The brand new carbon fibre wishbones are available in two materials: a standard stiffness version, which is included with the car, and a stiffer version for tracks with high grip or demanding tracks. The shape of the A11 lower arm ensures even force distribution and effectively transfers the weight of the car to the tyres, maximising overall mechanical grip. The new ball joint of the lower arm is attached with an O-ring, which facilitates installation and maintenance. All 4.9 mm ball heads are made of titanium to ensure maximum strength and optimum lightweight .

X-Low shock absorber

The A11 X-Low shock absorber is 1 mm shorter than its predecessor, the A10-25 Ultra Short shock absorber, and its overall mounting height is reduced by 3 mm. Therefore, the A11 can only use 17 mm springs. The black body of the X-Low has a hardened coating, and an X-ring is used on the underside of the oil seal to ensure smooth and good operation. The A11's shock absorbers have been moved to a more concentrated location, with both the front and rear shock absorbers moved inwards. As a result, the shock absorbers of the A11 are not only lower, but also more concentrated. As with the A10, the front and rear shock mounts have two screws for adjusting the stiffness. When fully locked in the standard position, the shock mounts are at their stiffest and offer the most direct response.

New front bumper

The A11's new front bumper not only increases height, but also minimises the area of the front chassis to reduce contact with the ground/carpet. On most flat tracks, the ride height can be set to between 4.2 and 4.5 mm without causing excessive friction on the chassis. New drivetrain The A11's all-new drivetrain uses a completely new gear ratio: 40T for the front spool drive and rear differential, 21T for the intermediate pulley and a final drive ratio of 1.904. In long-term testing, this final drive ratio has proven to be suitable for stock and modified racing, and the larger pulleys provide less belt curvature and smoother power transmission.

New motor mount

Compared to the A10, the motor position of the new A11 has been moved 3 mm inwards. The new motor mount has bearings at the front, rear and centre to adjust the belt tension, which makes the entire transmission system run more evenly. Another new feature is that the motor height can be adjusted with the third screw. If the upper screw is used for fastening, the motor height increases by 0.5 mm, which in certain cases can prevent the rear cover of the motor from touching the ground.

Ball bearing drive shafts

The A11's new transmission shafts all use smaller bearings instead of the previous C-caps, and both the front spool and the rear differential shell are made of high-strength S2 steel, ensuring maximum smoothness and durability. Completely new front spool and rear differential The completely new front spool shaft has a smaller 6×10 bearing and has been extensively weight-reduced. The rear differential has a new bevel gear and a new design, using 5×8 small bearings internally to secure the rear axle and 6×10 small bearings externally . This optimises running smoothness and weight. Compared to aluminium alloy differential cases, the all plastic case is not only lighter but also prevents overheating, ensuring consistent performance throughout the 5-minute race.

New stabilisers

The stabiliser bar of the A11 is positioned significantly lower on the chassis compared to the A10 , which lowers the overall centre of gravity further . The stabiliser bar runs under the lower wishbone and is connected to the outermost part, allowing it to work precisely. New steering knuckle The steering knuckles of the A11 are made of a high-strength and precise 7075-T6 aluminium alloy. The front and rear wheel hubs are identical, which makes it easier to procure spare parts. The new design allows the front part to maintain a fixed angle when aligned with the drive shaft. The rear driveshaft is also made of 7075-T6 aluminium alloy, which is lightweight and high-strength.

New 8.0mm steering plate

The spacing of the new steering plate has been changed from 8.5 mm to 8.0 mm . This subtle change makes the A11's steering more responsive, especially in tight spaces, and allows for faster lap times. The new steering plate limits the maximum steering angle to 26 degrees, ensuring a suitable angle for different grip conditions.

New battery holder

The new battery holder makes it easier to adjust the battery strength. The battery strength plays an important role in the handling of the touring bike. The correct position can be adjusted with just a few screws and washers in the battery holder. The battery holder, made entirely of plastic, further reduces the weight on the right-hand side of the vehicle and thus facilitates the use of large-capacity Lipo batteries.

New Up-Stop function

The design of the A11 integrates the latest up-stop limiting function on the bulkhead. This function can adjust the body lean and lateral grip by limiting the upper suspension travel of the suspension arms. On tracks with high grip, the reduction of the front upper suspension travel can improve the reaction of the front axle and prevent oversteer. Reducing the rear upper suspension travel can reduce the rear wheel grip and improve the response when changing sides. This is an optional accessory and can be purchased separately.
