Designed for precision and durability, the 1up Racing R/C BodyGuard is a lightweight, self-adhesive film that reinforces critical areas of your polycarbonate R/C body. Each pack contains five precisely cut black films, the material of which has been carefully selected to absorb shocks and prevent cracking without adding unnecessary weight.

1up Racing R/C Bodyguard is suitable for virtually all sizes and types of bodywork for electric racing cars - including touring cars, buggies, crawlers, monster trucks and short-course trucks - and provides targeted reinforcement for high-stress areas. The films can be cut to the desired shape and can be customised to fit bumpers, wheel arches, body posts and other vulnerable areas. The adhesive adheres best to clean, dry surfaces and can be applied quickly and cleanly.

Application tips

Apply to the inside of the shell after painting the body.

After application, use a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the material. This allows the tape to mould neatly to curves and complex contours.

Heating fully activates the adhesive and forms a permanent bond. Once applied, the tape is not intended to be removed again.

For large or high traffic areas, overlapping sections can increase strength and coverage.
