Cutting buggy tyre inserts is an underrated but powerful tuning option for carpet buggy racing. Not only does it eliminate inconsistencies in foam width from the package, but it also ensures a more accurate and balanced fit in the tyre. An overfilled or unbalanced foam can result in an unpredictable, hard to drive feel for your buggy. Our factory riders recommend cutting the foam to the exact width of your tread for a more forgiving, easier to ride feel that also promotes more even tyre wear.
