Lens Bodies Product Description

Lens Bodies is pleased to present the new BORA body for the Onroad 1:8 class.

The project was developed in the wind tunnel with the help of the Fluid Mechanics/Aerodynamics Department of SUN University Aversa (Italy).

In this way, we managed to achieve a balance between downforce and smoothness of the car in the curves to achieve faster lap times.

This body was also developed and approved together with our factory drivers.

Features

Front end
The front end has a very aggressive line with a larger bulge in the center area than on bodies on the market, which increases grip, steering and cornering speed. The nose is rounded rather than straight, providing more downforce during fast cornering.

Tail section
The two fins with the 6 rear micro fins and the cockpit that closes the engine and the filter have been specially designed to avoid turbulence as much as possible and increase aerodynamic grip. The two higher-than-normal side wings increase the smoothness and top speed of the vehicle.

Sides
The entire side of the body has been designed to improve airflow and prevent turbulence. In addition, this design also serves as stiffening for the side bulkheads and to prevent deformation at high speeds.
