The HUDY Carpet Offroad Tyre 814101 (4WD Front, Carpet, Type 101) is specially optimised for use on carpet tracks.
With its soft, grippy rubber compound and fine tread pattern, it provides excellent traction, ensures precise steering behaviour and even wear - ideal for the high demands of racing series such as the Euro Offroad Series (EOS).

🧩 Tips for use on carpet (suitable for EURO Offroad Series)
The tips below generally apply to 1:10 off-road tyres on carpet and are very well suited to the HUDY 814101:
| Tip | Meaning / Procedure |

| Grinding / running in | First "run in" new tyres with light laps, if necessary roughen with fine sandpaper (e.g. 400 grit) to remove the separating layer. |
| Cleaning before each run | Clean with a suitable cleaner (e.g. carpet cleaner, brake cleaner or RC-Tire Cleaner) - this will maintain adhesion. |
| Traction compound / gripping agent | Use evenly and moderately - especially before races - and allow sufficient application time. |
| Even wear | Swap (rotate) front and rear tyres occasionally, as well as left/right tyres, to ensure even wear and consistent handling. |
| Temperature management | Tyres should be neither too cold nor too hot: warm them up before the start of the race. |
| Check between runs | Check tread, sidewalls and fit; carefully remove small rubber threads ("fluff"); add grip compound if necessary. |
| Storage | Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light - avoid UV and heat so as not to dry out or damage the rubber material. |
