After years of testing samples, we have sourced the best aerospace grade 6AL4V (Grade 5) titanium available. Each bolt is cut using a CNC lathe to ensure the best possible strength and finish. We also recommend using the steel bolts from the kit on the underside of the chassis. Using titanium bolts on the underside would raise the vehicle's center of gravity and reduce stability and cornering speed. There are alternatives such as brass or tungsten screws, but we have found that they are either too soft and break easily or are so stiff that they reduce chassis flex and negatively affect handling.
