To opcjonalne podwozie AM1204X-STS ze stali miękkiej jest zmodyfikowaną i zaktualizowaną wersją poprzedniego podwozia AM1204X-ST i zapewnia podobną sztywność pionową tylnego zawieszenia jak aluminiowe podwozie AM1204WC.
Do montażu wspornika silnika/głowicy wymagane są 4 śruby centrujące ST112-5 (brak w zestawie).
