L'ultima novità della nuova famiglia di prodotti da competizione RUDDOG Racing è la serie di motori RP542. Dopo un'intensa attività di test e sviluppo, sono stati apportati miglioramenti in molte aree rispetto al suo predecessore.
Un pacchetto di avvolgimenti di nuova concezione migliora l'erogazione di potenza del motore e, insieme all'unità di sensori di precisione, aumenta la controllabilità e l'efficienza. Uno degli obiettivi del team di progettazione di RUDDOG è stato quello di ridurre la temperatura di esercizio. Utilizzando grandi aperture di raffreddamento, è stato possibile ridurre il peso dell'RP542 da un lato e aumentare la portata d'aria dall'altro.
L'anello del collettore è ora dotato di alette di raffreddamento per migliorare la dissipazione del calore. Per le diverse aree di applicazione vengono utilizzati rotori ottimizzati. Per i motori RUDDOG Stock, viene montato un rotore da 12,5 mm x 7,15 mm x 25,8 mm per soddisfare gli elevati requisiti delle classi Stock.
