The system measures the weight pressing down on each of the car's axles. Thus, it fairly accurately reflects the existing weight distribution of the car at each wheel and allows you to optimize and adjust it by making small changes. This will give you a decisive advantage the next time you go out on the track.

A well-balanced chassis is easier and faster to move than one where the wheel loads don't match. Then the car will behave differently in left turns than in right turns, for example.
