The 10mm aluminum blocks are among the most important setup utensils in all 1:10 on-road classes. You place your vehicle on them and then set the suspension travel with the appropriate gauge (e.g. HU-107714 or MR33CDG).

The suspension travel is a very important setup parameter, because it defines the distance your suspension can travel mechanically during rebound. This comes into play in all situations where the vehicle shifts weight. So from back to front when braking, from front to back when accelerating, and of course from side to side when going through corners.
