Our Bulkhead Alignment Multi-Tool for the Mugen MTC2R is here! 

With a similar design to the original MSE plate, it allows MTC2 drivers to square up their bulkheads, which is absolutely critical to having a perfect car. 

Since caster is ultimately determined by the angle of the upper bulkhead, any inaccuracy in bulkhead alignment is transferred to the suspension. 

The multitool is attached to the wedged areas of the bulkheads and then fastened with M3 capscrews. 

It can be used with a car assembled, all that needs to be removed are the upper bulkheads and diff and spool. 

We also added some other cool features to the tool. 

We have a Quick Check that slides under the rear body mount or front bulkheads to quickly check if you have any alignment issues! 

The other cool feature is the track width measurement. 

Simply align one side with the edge of your tire and see what measurement the other side shows. 

A simple but cool integration that will come in handy when testing and tuning at the track!

Directions for use:

• Remove upper bulkheads and spool/diff from car
• Loosen the bulkheads from the chassis with 1/4 turn per screw
• Loosen the top deck by turning each screw 1/4 turn.
• Lay the car flat on the setup board and secure the board over the battery side of the car
• Align the holes on the carbon plate with the bulkheads and lightly tighten all 4 screws on each end of the car.
• Turn the vehicle upside down and tighten the bottom screws.
• Turn the vehicle back upright and tighten the upper deck screws. 
• Remove the carbon alignment tool
• Insert and tighten the spool, diff, and upper bulkheads. 
• You now have perfectly aligned lower and upper bulkheads!
