Mugen Seiki MTC-2R 1:10 Touring Car Kit Carbon Chassis

Mugen Seiki is launching the MTC-2R touring car, the successor to the highly successful MTC-2. Mugen factory driver Ronald Völker has won the ETS championship two years in a row with the MTC-2 platform and now it is time to release the next generation MTC-2R with various updates and improvements. 

Ronald Völker, Robert Pietsch, Eric Dankel, and the rest of the development team (Japan) have tested on many different surfaces and conditions to develop the MTC-2R.  

The MTC-2R features several new parts that improve the feel and performance on the track:

• The new single-arm steering is attached directly to the LCG servo mount, making the steering more linear and significantly reducing play in the steering.
• The new ball bearing drive shafts increases consistency and precision on the track.  
• A new silicone X-ring for the dampers allows the dampers to work more smoothly and increases consistency during a race. 
• The new damper position has been optimized again for better traction.
• The new caster adjustment increases durability, and makes it easier to work on the car.  
• More durable 6mm damper balls with 2.5mm hex socket.
• Fine belt adjustment via adjustable belt tensioners on the motor mount.
• All-in-one shock towers with fixed, and optional active shock mounts .
• Fewer grub screws for easier work on the car.
• New, very high quality composite parts make replacement parts more affordable.
