Note: If the batteries swell or become thick after discharging, this is a sign of overloading and/or deep discharge of the battery. This will damage the battery and reduce its maximum performance. Bloated batteries are not a product defect and are therefore excluded from the warranty.

NEVER store your battery completely discharged or fully charged. Both charging states irreversibly damage the battery and cause the cells to swell. A fully charged battery has the same negative effects during storage as a completely discharged battery. Storage is considered to have occurred after a period of more than one hour.

Be sure to follow the charging, discharging and care instructions for your battery without exception. There are not many instructions that you really need to read - but you should read, understand and follow them.
